Find your balance.
Two disciplines, one goal. The stillness of myofascial release meets the movement of Tui Na — yin and yang, tailored to what your body needs.
The yin
Myofascial Release · John F. Barnes method
Slow, sustained, listening pressure into the fascial system — no forcing, just time and attention where your body is holding. For old injuries, chronic pain patterns, and anyone whose nervous system needs to stand down before the body can let go.
Best for: chronic pain, postural patterns, stress-held tension.
The yang
Tui Na
Dynamic Chinese medical massage: rhythmic pressing, rolling, and deep, targeted tissue work that gets things moving. Cupping and gua sha woven in where they'll help. For chronic tension, stubborn knots, and anyone who wants to walk out feeling like something actually happened.
Best for: athletes, chronic tightness, people who like deeper work.
Also in the toolkit
Cupping
Suction that lifts and decompresses tissue — great for back and shoulder tension. Usually part of a Tui Na session.
Gua sha
A smooth-edged tool worked along the skin to release stagnant areas. Often paired with Tui Na for neck, back, and IT-band work.
Deep tissue
Focused, deliberate pressure for the spots that need it — informed by everything above, not just harder massage.
Swedish
Long, flowing strokes for pure down-regulation. The exhale at the end of the week.
Sessions
60 minutes — $85
75 minutes — $100
90 minutes — $115
Not sure which you need? Book a session and we'll figure it out together — every treatment is tailored.
